Symposium of the APPICON
Symposium form an important component of scientific programs of APPICON. The Symposium are designed to provide a stage for experts and delegates to have an in-depth discussion in specific domains of research.
APPICON 2024 will provide a framework for hosting Symposium on varied topics from Physiology, Pharmacology and Allied Sciences. The topics of immediate and future relevance in Teaching, Research and Patient care will form part of scientific APPICON 2024. About of 1/3rd effective available time of the Conference shall be devoted to conduct Symposium.

The APPI invites all the members to submit the proposal for Symposium.
Method of Submission: The submission of proposals will be done through the online portal appi.org.in only.
Selection of the Proposal:The submitted proposal shall be examined for the relevance of the topic, profile of the invited speakers and arrangement of logistics for travel and stay. The submitted proposals will be examined by a select committee consisting of senior members of the APPI.
Guidelines for submission of the Proposal for Symposium
-The symposium should be proposed by a life member of APPI.
- The symposium should preferably consist of 3 invited speakers (the proposer of the symposium can also be one of the speakers). Inclusion of additional speaker will result in decrease in available time per speaker.
- The coordinator and speakers of the symposia are required to have web-account at the official website of the APPI appi.org.in. This is required to ensure timely and fail-safe communication.
- Speakers are required to submit the digital material/media for presentation.
- Speakers are also required to submit a brief write up of the talks that will be collated as part of the proceedings of the conference.
- The Coordinator of symposium will ensure timely submission of material for presentation and write-ups as required by Organizers.
- The logistics for travel and stay of the speakers is responsibilities of the Co-ordinator. The organizing committee may be requested for assistance and local hospitality.
- The duration of symposium will be 60 minutes.
Method of Submission
The submission of proposals will be done through the online portal appi.org.in only. The members have to create a web-account at the official online portal appi.org.in. After creation of web-account, kindly login and go to page.

The process of submission consists of four steps that are detailed below:
Step 1: Information related to Coordinator
All communication related to the conduct of the proposed symposium will be done through contact details provided by the coordinator.
A. Profile of Coordinator

Coordinators’ research publication/experience in the recent past in relation to proposed Symposium. This information will be used for wider publicity of the symposium.
B. Proposed title of Symposium
C. Brief outline of the topic (including its scientific and pragmatic relevance)
Step 2: Profile of Invited Speakers
A. Number of Speakers: 3 (preferable) or 4
B. Profile of each Speaker (Kindly ensure that Speakers have web-account in the appi.org.in

Invited Speakers’ research publication/experience in the recent past in relation to proposed Symposium. This information will be used for wider publicity of the symposium.
Step 3: Submission with a declaration
The coordinator will confirm the information provided and complete the submission. An additional text box will be provided for any other information that the coordinator may wish to share with the organizers of the APPICON and APPI.
The Coordinator and Invited Speakers will be required to submit write-ups of the content of the symposium in the form of education review. This write-up will form part of the publication of the proceedings of the APPICON and will be made available on appi.org.in
Selection of the Proposal
The submitted proposal shall be examined for the relevance of the topic, profile of the invited speakers and arrangement of logistics for travel and stay. The submitted proposals will be examined by a National Scientific Advisory Committee consisting of senior members of the APPI.
