Awards of the APPI
A number of Orations/Awards/Prizes have been instituted by APPI over the years by generous contributions by life members and generous donors. The awards are exclusively for APPI Life members.

1. Lifetime Achievement Award of the APPI
APPI Lifetime Achievement Award is conferred to a life-time member of APPI in recognition of their dedication and commitment towards the functioning and growth of APPI

2. Orations of the APPI
The orations of the APPI have been instituted to honour the eminent personalities whose academic and administrative expertise contributed to the growth of medical education and research in India.
The Orations of APPI:
Maj Gen S L Bhatia Oration: to be given to an Indian scientist of eminence who would have substantially contributed to the research and development in the field of Physiology/ Pharmacology or Allied Sciences through outstanding body of work carried out primarily in India.

3. APPI Awards for best teacher, educators /innovators

APPI award for Best teacher in Physiology/Pharmacology/Allied Sciences for significant contribution in uplifting undergraduate and postgraduate education in India, instituted in the name of Dr K Puthuraya.

6. APPI Award for best Branch
APPI Award for best Branch is presented to one of the local chapters of APPI in order to infuse enthusiasm, to give impetus and to encourage pursuit of excellence among the branches of APPI

7. Workshop/CME grant (two in year)
Financial grants are provided to members of the APPI to conduct workshops/CMEs under the aegis of APPI. The members must route their application through the local branches of APPI.
